Please, respect your scheduled time for your

child(ren) to be at Atrebla unless pre-arranged

 by the director.              

    

Curriculum Overview

Core Knowledge provided by Cargill is used to help develop the

children though movement/music, oral language, scientific reasoning,

nursery rhymes and visual arts.

 

The scientific RESEARCH COMPANY DISTAR developed

reading Program.  This reading program is simply a consistent

program designed to help children in their first developmental steps

in learning how to read. Unlike many other reading programs, DISTAR

teaches children to read from letter sounds.

 

Math Program is designed to help our children master math easily

and naturally. This math program teaches children the beginning stages

of understanding numbers, patterns, and thinking skills.

 

Writing Program is an essential skill to help children develop

handwriting and sequential order skills.

 

Spanish is taught weekly: numbers, colors, alphabets, greetings, and

days of the week.

 

 

Dance Lessons is designed to teach creative movement 

 

Atrebla Early Learning Center will be

featured on “Business Focus” on:

March 3rd at 7:30pm on Channel 16

March 6th at 5:30pm on Channel 17

March 17th at 10:00pm on Channel 16

March 24th at 7:30pm on Channel 16

Parent Reminders:

Ÿ We will be going outside to enjoy the fresh air.

 Please dress your children properly for outside play .

They need proper clothing: boats, coats, and hats.                                                                                                                                                             

Ÿ Option for childcare payments with ACH Deposit allows

Atrebla to transfer childcare fees from your checking or

saving account to ATREBLA’S checking accounts. For further

information see the Director.                                                                

Ÿ  A.E.L.C. SOUTH children will need to be at Atrebla by

9:50AM to attend ALL field trips!    

Ÿ Parent /Teacher Conferences March 15th.

Please schedule time with your child’s teacher.                               

Ÿ We are asking parents to complete  a Parent

Evaluation Form Review that will be given out in

March. Your comments are important to us as we

make efforts to improve our program here at Atrebla

 Early Learning Center.                               

Ÿ Volunteers are welcome on all field trips!

EMERGENCY CLOSING:

In case of severe weather condition,

 fire, or other disasters causing

damage to the building, or all staff

events Atrebla Early Learning Center

 will close. You will get a call from

your child (ren)’s Lead Teacher or

Director.  When a closing is declared

during the business day, all parents

must pick up their child(ren) within

two hours of closing announcement. 

 Closing information due to weather

 that is determined  during the night is

broadcast on WCCO TV Channel 4.

Parents are not charged for these days.

 

Atrebla Early Learing Center has

implemented a new behavioral

program in addition to our behavior

guidance in our curriculum. This

progam is done through a company

called Transformative Practices.

They are a local organization that

joined Atrebla Early Learning

Centers this past Sept.  

Transformative Practices  is a

collaboration of experienced

facilitators offering training,

coaching, and facilitation.

The program is tailored for

individual / group and designed

to change the physical, mental,

emotional, social inappropriate

 behavior.  More information and

training about ways to help our

children develop appropriate

behavior will be coming soon.

Parents will also be invited

to learn more about this

Behavorial Guidance Program.     

 

In the near future Atrebla will be

asking parents for help in our

accreditation process. Your help

 is much appreciated.         

Children‘s Health:
Safety Mobile will be joining Atrebla 

March 30th with a presentation on

Poisoning Prevention and Emergency 911.

 Parents are welcome to attended!
